This page describes how Termlane handles data in a typical self-hosted or single-tenant-style deployment you control. It is not a substitute for counsel where regulated data is involved.
What you store. You enter renewal metadata: titles, vendors, amounts, dates, internal notes, and accountability fields. That content is stored in your database and visible to members of the same workspace according to role.
What we minimize. The reference implementation avoids shipping contract PDFs. If you expand the product to file storage, treat that as a separate risk decision with explicit retention policy.
Processors. Stripe and Resend (optional) become subprocessors when you enable them with your own keys. Their DPAs govern those flows.
